Designed by the DOX Arquitectos practice in 2013, the La Tratto Santa Lucia restaurant had featured an eclectic design inspired by the historic center of the city with its colonial aesthetic.
Located in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, the La Tratto Santa Lucia restaurant was designed by the DOX Arquitectos practice in 2013 and it features an eclectic design that is inspired by the historic center of the city with its colonial aesthetic. The building in which the restaurant is located is listed as a historic monument so the project has to maintain its specific look. The focus of the restaurant is on Italian food and right next to the locale is the Santa Lucia Park which is a tourist attraction due to the traditional serenades and traditional dances that take place in it.
The interior focuses on the main bar which is covered with mahogany wood and white marble, having a white glass lamp above it to maintain the vintage theme. The open kitchen is opposite the bar and it is equipped with the latest appliances to contrast the wooden stove and the monumental kitchen furniture.
