With 113-room boutique hotel in the heart of Greenwich Village was designed by Gene Kaufman with interiors by Andres Escobar & Associates, and recently celebrated its two-year anniversary. Designed by Atelier & Company to blend in with the building’s Greenwich Village surroundings, the Jade’s facade succeeds in being clandestine – we nearly missed it on our first pass! Inside, a grand, backlit staircase descends into a cozy lobby lounge where guests can kick their feet up on plush armchairs and enjoy the roaring fire. To the left, a modest but thoughtfully curated library alcove offers a literary distraction to those who might want it, while drinks can be ordered to two sitting nooks for others looking to escape the cares of the day in another way.
