A gorgeous contemporary project designed by the Gantous Arquitectos practice in 2009 as an attempt to create an oasis of peace and comfort in one of the intensely urbanized areas of the metropolis named The Polanco Penthouse which is located in Mexico Cit.
The location on the top level of a building allows the inhabitants to have complete privacy and, more importantly, a terrific panorama of the city at the same time. The designers incorporated gardens inside for a natural environment that is also the connective element linking the terraces and patios together and bringing more green tones to the interior.
The vegetation is combined with Navona travertine and wainscoting as the main finishes for an elegant ambiance inside that is minimalistic but full of textures. The atmosphere inside is balanced and cozy with rich decorative elements comprised of paintings, sculptures and photos to add character to each area and make it unique.
