Exploring an extraordinary Connecticut residence by Daniel Libeskind

Located in Connecticut, the southernmost state in the northeastern region of the United States known as New England, this extraordinary residence is known as one of the most imposing works of the architect Daniel Libeskind. Especially designed for 'a very rich art world couple', the residence is formed by a spiraling ribbon of 18 planes, defined by 36 points connected by 54 lines. The home displays exquisite and dynamic architecture which generates distinctive interior spaces while dramatically framing both near and distant landscape scenes.

It is interesting to note that circulation through kitchen, living, dining, and sleeping areas is seamless and free-flowing, as is the distinction between interior and exterior space.
