The future project name the Oslo International Airport

The Oslo International Airport is expected to be completed in 2017 and will spread over a surface of 148,000 square meters to include contact with airlines, concessionaires and areas for airport handling companies.
The airport is one of the most energy efficient in the world and the extension will follow the same philosophy through the implementation of simple movement patterns that would allow it to achieve the BREEAM excellence degree.
The extended capacity will reach 28 million passengers per year and after a second phase of extension it will be of 35 million. The project’s layout was created to take advantage of the natural light and to adapt to changing weather conditions, while district heating and natural thermal energy have been elements that improve the overall sustainability strategy of the airport.
