Melbourne is the capital and most populous city in the state of Victoria, and the second most populous city in Australia.It is a leading financial centre in Australia, as well as the Asia-Pacific region and has been ranked the world's most livable city since 2011. Melbourne is rated highly in the areas of education, entertainment, healthcare, research and development, tourism and sports. Here I listed some magnificent places to visit in Melbourne.

The Princess Theatre is a 1488-seat theatre in Melbourne's East End Theatre District, Australia. It is listed by the National Trust of Australia and is on the Victorian Heritage Register. With her magnificent facade, domed roofs and marble foyer, this Victorian-era entertainment palace also boasts two dining rooms, the Melba and Marriner, for pre-show nibbles.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is an Australian sports stadium located in Yarra Park, Melbourne, Victoria. It is the 13th-largest stadium in the world, the largest in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere, the largest stadium for playing cricket, and has the highest light towers at any sporting venue. The  MCG is within walking distance to the east of the city's CBD and is easily accessible by both public transport and by foot. It is part of the Melbourne Sports and Entertainment Precinct.

Albert Park and Albert Park Lake are situated in the City of Port Phillip, Victoria, Australia, 3 km south of the Melbourne CBD. The park encompasses 2.25 square kilometres (225 ha; 560 acres) of parkland including  Albert Park Lake (0.49 square kilometres (49 ha; 120 acres)[2]) and provides numerous  ovals, sporting facilities, the Albert Park Public Golf Course, a 5-kilometre (3.1 mi) walking track around the lake, and the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit.
